How do I Setup My Budget in my Planner? Step 1: My Monthly Calendar The first step is to set up my monthly calendar with my dates and all of my bills. I will add each bill and when they are due to my monthly calendar and then highlight each bill based on which payday will cover them. Using 4 highlight colors (since I get paid weekly) I will highlight and that lets me know when a certain bill needs to be covered.
