April 14, 2012 Guns N' Roses are inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Axl Rose doesn't show up, saying that it's best to "let sleeping dogs lie or lying dogs sleep." He asks that he not be inducted, but they put him in anyway. Rose wrote in his letter he would skip the event, saying the Hall "doesn't appear to be somewhere I'm actually wanted or respected".
