While I was in Cusco, Peru I got a lesson how to make a pisco sour from Ceasar, at my wonderful Union Hotel Cusco. I’m on a trip in Peru, learning, experiencing this wonderful country and finding connections to plants wherever I can, including cocktails.😁 I learned from Ceasar that Pisco was invented in 1613 and it’s made from grapes, just like wine but it’s got a higher alcohol content so watch out. The inventor of the pisco sour was American, though the original recipe was not with egg whites
