Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) on Tuesday explained the agreement she reached with Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) to end the standoff over her proposal to allow proxy voting for new parents in Congress. The Florida congresswoman had proposed allowing lawmakers who are new parents to vote remotely for up to 12 weeks after the birth of their child.
