The original Vibraslap - A donkeys Jawbone. • This is Peruvian percussionist José Orlando “Lalo” Izquierdo playing the Jawbone . It is called a quijada in Spanish. This style of instrument originated in Africa and was made of Donkey or Zebra teeth. It was carried to South America by slaves and spread from there.
