Broad jump is a good exercise to develop your concentric RFD. RFD stands for rate of force development. A measure of how much force you can produce in a shot period of time. And concentric is during the UP phase in a jump. I recommend spending a few weeks developing this ability before moving on to ECCENTRIC RFD.
