I got some underwater footage of them and realized that the male has half of his fluke missing! Poor guy! I wonder if that is why he is so calm, at least when we have seen him. Yesterday on our Divine Dolphin tour we came across an abandoned long line with two sea turtles stuck in mass of rope. The first turtle was easy to release as it just had a few ropes around him.
