Roller coaster closes after crack in support beam [July 2, 2023] Carowinds, North Carolina, closed one of its roller coasters Friday after a large crack was found on a support beam. The roller coaster, Fury 325 stated as the “tallest, fastest, longest giga coaster in North America" crosses into both North Carolina and South Carolina.
