October is AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) Awareness Month, and today we are celebrating a very special moment at Ahlf Junior High School! Student Damon Weir proudly led our school in saying the Pledge of Allegiance over the intercom using his AAC device. 🇺🇸✨ Damon’s voice reminds us that communication comes in many forms, and every voice deserves to be heard. We are so proud of his confidence, leadership, and the way he inspires us all to celebrate communication for everyone.
