Dec 13, 2024 · As others have said, the next IP from Naughty Dog is enough for me, so to see a four minute trailer with such style and juice really got me going. I am a little cold to the Adidas and Porsche of it all, but I think it's part of their alternate-80's aesthetic. I absolutely adore the old-school Sony hardware, felt very Kojima.

It was always a small story, it was never a full title. At the time, we had higher priorities at Naughty Dog, to fix our pipeline, to fix work-life balance issues.

Jun 29, 2020 · Naughty Dog has done some significant rewrites of the engine just in the PS4 generation itself and that's not even counting what they did when they forked off ND 3.1 to make Uncharted 3 and TLOU. Their engine is suited to how game development is moving - they constantly stream data which is exactly how the PS5 was built.

Dec 13, 2024 · I don't think it looks bad, but it doesn't really move the needle for me. But I'm grateful this is the direction Naughty Dog is going in for the next game. I definitely initially thought of GotG/Concord when watching the trailer and then my mind went to discount Cowboy Bebop, though the lighting up the energy sword gave me big No More Heroes vibes.

Aug 27, 2024 · With the cancellation of TLOU Online, it's assumed that Naughty Dog's next game will be a new IP. All of their IPs have had some form of multiplayer. Crash Team Racing, Jak X, Uncharted 2-4, Last of Us. I played all these (except Jak X), and would like for them to continue this trajectory. If it's not PvP, maybe it can be co-op.
