Sep 27, 2022 · This is many months later but I used to use VDX to emulate an Xbox controller as a DS4 so Remote Play would detect it. However with the latest PS5 and Remote Play update, this has stopped working. I tried using DS4Windows but it doesn't seem to support nor detect the standard Xbox controllers. Tried everything but no controller detected.

I have ensured the Xbox and PC have current updates. I have reset the Xbox app on my PC. I have checked the "Check Remote Play" function on the Xbox and have zero issues reported.

The Xbox app sees my console (it can even see when it's on or in standby) and it tries to connect, but it simply loads forever. I tried with a fresh install of Windows and that did not fix the issue. I tried Cloud streaming and it doesn't work either.
