Jul 4, 2015 · DS > SNES > Emulation > PSN Digital > PS1 Load times weren't exactly a thing during the SNES era. Some games had awkward pauses that lasted a second or two between areas or other large scale transitions, but they weren't noticeable for the most part.

Jan 2, 2018 · Chrono Trigger did a lot of great stuff though, like an unorthodox JRPG battle system for that time and multiple endings, plus the story was pretty unconventional. It also had what was called a "dream team", so you can see how people see it as the pinnacle of JRPGs on the SNES, even of all time.

See, Chrono Cross is a much better soundtrack, but despite playing both games multiple times, I actually don't have many memories associated with Chrono Cross's soundtrack, where I can remember where basically all the music is used in Chrono Trigger, so when that soundtrack plays, I am suddenly back in Zeal, or 600AD.
