May 4, 2024 · Said that a replacement converter would be $800-1000 (but might trigger a code from the O2 sensor) or $2-3k for an OEM part. I'm trying to avoid putting that much money into an '07 van that has 300k miles on it. I know they make products that run around $20 or so that claim to clean the catalytic converter if you dump them in your gas tank.

The dealership (had them do some maintenance because I'm lazy) told me where it was damaged, and that they could ONLY replace the entire exhaust with an entire factory exhaust - the service writer suggested I find a local exhaust shop to patch it up.
