Trustees talk tuition, construction, finances for 2023-2024
Feb 29, 2024 · The trustees approved a 3.54% increase for the 2024-2025 academic year, according to the college’s announcement on Feb. 26. The increase brings this past year’s $83,880 tuition price up to $86,850 for the 2024-2025 academic year. The percent increase is less than the past two years, in which the tuition increased by 4.5% each year.

Middlebury falls to 19th in U.S. News & World Report ranking
Oct 3, 2024 · On Sept. 23, U.S. News & World Report released its 2025–2026 national liberal arts colleges rankings, which dropped Middlebury to 19th place — eight positions lower than last year, tied with Grinnell College and Washington and Lee University. This ranking is Middlebury’s lowest since its first appearance on the list in 1988, when the college was ranked 17th.
