When I checked yesterday for 16gb 1600mhz it was around $65-70 seems like a great deal for one of the best most reliable brands!!

The Apple spec says 8GB (4*2) MAX....but many sources (articles, youtube vids, etc...) are using 16GB in this model for upgrades. May 16, 2006 · Apple buys their RAM from multiple suppliers, as do all manufacturers. The most common I have seen lately have been Samsung and Micron. Apple have also used Hynix and IBM in the past. Since you cannot buy RAM directly from either company, your best bet is to choose a reputable seller who tests and guarantees compatibility with your model Mac.

Mar 20, 2019 · The RAM I linked to above from Crucial doesn't seem to have any issues with the 2018 Mac Mini that uses the same 2666MHz speed and even works in older 2017 iMacs that came with 2400MHz. I'd be pretty shocked if I have any issues with what I purchased.
