Memento can be used to edit the mesh, prepare it for printing, etc. It can also export to a bunch of formats. - RCS is a ReCap point cloud file. Feb 12, 2017 · Look for these settings in the advanced settings tab during import. If your PTX file has data that is already in a specific CS (e.g. Colorado State Plane), you need to tell ReCap that. If you want to work with the data in that CS in ReCap and downstream (Civil 3D, Infraworks, etc.) you need set the target CS to that same CS.

Jun 23, 2021 · In ReCap itself I can do this by: hiding the map, selecting all the visible points, deleting them, saving the project, choosing to "optimize", and finally. save-as to a new location, choosing to permanently delete the points. In the ReCap SDK it looks like steps 1-2 can be achieved by selecting the correct scans.
