Aug 10, 2022 · Wisteria is Twin Peaks Season 4, it acts as a reboot / sequel in the vein of the Evangelion Rebuild movies. Laura Palmer has disappeared, her body is not discovered at the beginning of this, keeping in line with the book. Camren Bicondova will be playing Laura Palmer.

But I'm enjoying this season very much and if things potentially end open-ended (It's David Lynch, c'mon, of course it will) would you be interested in a season 4? And lets speculate: Would Lynch and Frost be interested? There's no way to know for certain. Would Showtime? I'm curious how the figures are going to look once the season is over.

I don't know about Season 4, but Sabrina Sutherland's Q&A on the Tulpa forum is well worth reading, confirms that Wisteria/Unrecorded Night was going to be a netflix series but was cancelled because of the pandemic, but says they could go back to it, and then someone else asks again if there's a chance it might still get made and she simply answers 'yes', of course …

Oct 13, 2022 · A town can still be sleepy, but even the warmest have dried into road bump bus stops more like Deer Meadow than Twin Peaks - of course this is anecdotal, first hand experience, but I think the mood of the world has changed enough it's hard to recapture something like Twin Peaks was and retain any modernity.

Season 3 is Lynch in full control, it is his vision if Twin Peaks, perfect ideal Twin Peaks. He rewrote things when Cooper went back in time and erased Laura’s murder and further plotlines. The mystery of who is BOB was changed to who is Judy.

It would tie into the idea of a familiar places, but time moving forward and us unable to return to those times, and it changing with how we view reality.

Like a lot of announced projects in Hollywood, it hasn't progressed in the anticipated way but nor has it been officially cancelled. It may happen, it may not. No-one except those actively involved in it really know, and even they may be sketchy on the details.

Oct 20, 2023 · I seriously couldn't believe how good season 3 was, I know it's unlikely but I really do want a season 4. I also really think (i.e. who killed Laura Palmer) should never have been revealed, I think it detracted from the overall story; Laura's killer really doesn't matter in the context of Twin Peaks. What a great TV show it was.
