Aug 21, 2013 · I have desktop running XP Pro and a HP all in one officejet V40 shared to other computers on my router, my sony xp laptop and acer one xp laptop connect to it fine but my Hp 4540 Win 7 pro 64 bit sees it but no windows driver is found.

Oct 15, 2011 · I scan documents and pictures and they show up visually in the HP Solution Center box. I click on "finish" and the scan does not get saved to my hard drive. I click on "launch directory automatically" and it does not do this. I have another PC running XP and the functionality works fine. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64.

The Brother printer does not disappear. To re-install the HP 7410 printer requires disabling the AVS using the Services utility (not just shutting down the AVS (Panda)).
