The second reported case of measles in Virginia has been identified as a teen patient between 13-17 years-old.

Among the places that the teen, between the ages of 13 and 17, visited this week were the Charlottesville Albemarle Airport on Tuesday.

The Virginia Department of Health has reported the state’s second measles case this year — a 13-to-17-year old in the northwest region who recently traveled internationally.

A teenager who spent several hours in Charlottesville has been diagnosed with measles, creating an exposure risk for those in the area.
