Texas House Democrats left the state to block a vote on redistricting. It's a political strategy that dates back 150 years.

"Real Texans do not run from a fight. But that’s exactly what most of the Texas House Democrats just did," Gov. Greg Abbott said in response to Dems breaking quorum.
