EVANS, GA (WJBF)- A regular Friday turned in an unexpected surprise for Lakeside football head coach Steve Hibbitts. On his way to lunch, he was honored with the 5A GHSA Coach of the Year plaque.

Lakeside’s Steve Hibbitts was awarded the GHSA 5A Coach of the Year recognition. Hibbitts has been with the Panthers since 2014.
