San Antonio Spurs rookie Stephon Castle will have the chance to showcase his athletic ability during NBA All-Star Weekend.

Bulls rookie forward Matas Buzelis and Spurs rookie guard Stephon Castle have committed to two of the four spots in the slam dunk contest during NBA All-Star Weekend, sources told ESPN on Monday.

Stephon Castle, who helped UConn to a national championship, will participate in the 2025 NBA Slam Dunk Contest in February.

The last time a regular NBA roster player won the Slam Dunk Contest was 2022, G-League sensation Mac McClung won the last two.

While not made official yet, the San Antonio Spurs are all but guaranteed to have one All-Star this season for the first time since Dejounte Murray in 2022. Victor Wembanyama is having an excellent season, and the fan vote boosted his All-Star case.
