Elon Musk on Wednesday unveiled Grok 4, a new version of his X platform's AI chatbot. The update comes a day after the bot posted antisemitic content on the social media network. Musk introduced the new model in a livestream on X late Wednesday, calling Grok 4 "the smartest AI in the world."

Grok 4 is xAI’s most advanced model yet, but early praise is clashing with old scandals and fresh tests of its limits.

The xAI founder said the very notion humans actually once managed an economy will seem very quaint in the future, like 'cavemen throwing sticks into a fire'.

Elon Musk says his xAI company’s latest AI model Grok 4 is “better than PhD level in everything.” Describing the latest model as “the smartest AI in the world” at its launch, the billionaire SpaceX and Tesla boss said it had received 100 times more training than the Grok 2 version,

The company also introduced Grok 4 Heavy, a version designed to handle more complex tasks by using a team-based system of AI agents
