The Los Angeles Dodgers have met with Japanese ace Rōki Sasaki during his posting window, according to Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. Ardaya noted that

Roki Sasaki and his representatives met with Dodgers brass, making them the sixth Major League Baseball team confirmed to have pitched their vision for the 23-year-old superstar’s future.

Roki Sasaki is set to join the MLB next year, and the Padres are predicted to outrun the Dodgers in the race to sign the Japanese star.

Per Plunkett, Sasaki is expected to shrink the numbers of suitors and hold another round of of meetings in 2025. Sasaki's agent Joel Wolfe said at the Winter Meetings earlier this month that more than 20 teams have reached out with an interest, and the only surprise there is he didn't say all 30 teams indicated an interest.
