Iran’s leaders are discovering they’re on their own against the U.S. and Israel, without the network of proxies and allies that allowed them to project power in the Middle East and beyond.

Iran's military launched dozens of missiles into Israel on Saturday night after President Donald Trump ordered U.S. airstrikes against three Iranian nuclear sites at Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan. Trump and other world leaders have called on Iran to come to the negotiating table.

Trump said the U.S. hit the Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan nuclear sites. Iran’s top diplomat called the attack “outrageous” and said it would have “everlasting consequences.”

The fight between two well-armed Mideast powers has their neighbors worried about the conflict spreading, a concern only deepened by U.S. involvement.
