The Indianapolis Colts begin fine-tuning their roster on the way to reaching a 53-player limit by Tuesday, August 25.

Indianapolis has spent the days since Saturday’s preseason finale making hard decisions, whittling the roster down from 90 players to 53 in a marathon cut that takes a toll on everybody involved, and now the Colts must make enough cuts to get the roster down to 53 players by 4 p.m. Tuesday.

The Indianapolis Colts have begun to trim their roster down from 90 to 53 before the deadline on Tuesday at 4 p.m. The team finished its preseason with a dominant win over the Bengals, 41-14, on Saturday.
