INDEPENDENCE COUNTY, Ark. – A plane crashed in Independence County Sunday afternoon after becoming tangled in power lines. According to Independence County Sheriff Shawn Stevens, the crash happened around 2:30 Sunday afternoon four to five miles north of Batesville.
