The Florida State football program saw one player from the Class of 2026 decommit after choosing to go to Tallahassee just a few months ago.

One staff member that Florida State retained was defensive backs coach Patrick Surtain, Sr., who has been held in high regard among the coaching community. It's safe to say that the Seminoles will need his 11-year NFL playing and 12-year coaching experience to help implement new defensive coordinator Tony White's defense.

Kaliah Wooden worked as a groundskeeper at FSU when the April 17 attack took place. Wooden says it motivated him to pursue a career in school safety, starting this week at Ruediger Elementary.
