BASTROP, Texas — A major social media company is moving halfway across the country to Texas. X, formerly known as Twitter, is shifting its headquarters from San Francisco to Bastrop, Texas.

Last week, he announced where exactly his social media company X will land — and it might not be where many expected.  In a report by Forbes, Bastrop was pinpointed as the landing spot for Musk’s X,
