The Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) announced on Friday Wisconsin ranked first in the nation for the amount of prescription drugs collected during the fall 2024 Drug

Since the program began in 2010, 1,312,654 lbs. of unwanted medication have been collected in Wisconsin. Nationwide, Wisconsin ranks third overall. Only Texas and California have collected more since the program began. The Drug Enforcement Administration holds two Drug Take Back days a year, one in the spring and one in the fall.
