A tourist from Missouri accused of burning down several businesses in southwestern Puerto Rico in a high-profile case that sparked a backlash against unruly visitors in the U.S. territory has been indicted by a federal grand jury.

Authorities say Danielle Bertothy started a fire at a bar in Cabo Rojo that also charred a retail store, restaurant and hotel.
