A Boone man was arrested after allegedly smashing jewelry display cases at Walmart and leaving with several pieces.

THAT’S WHERE WE A man stole jewelry from a North Carolina Walmart after getting a baseball bat and damaging the display cases, according to Boone police. The theft happened about 8:45 p.m. Saturday.

Two suspects smashed display cases and stole jewelry from a business in Westport on Thursday, according to police.
