At 4:07 p.m. on Thursday, the National Weather Service released a severe thunderstorm watch in effect until 10 p.m. for Mercer and Monmouth counties.

Several homes sustained damage during Tuesday’s storm, with one house at a mobile home park in the southern Las Vegas valley losing its porch and patio awning.
