Gardner-area teams are representing in the MIAA state tournaments for soccer and football. Check out who they will face this postseason.

The MIAA tournaments for field hockey, girls’ volleyball, and boys’ and girls’ soccer are underway, with football beginning later this week. With games being played nearly every day across the state, it can be hard to keep track of results.

Reading (D3), Duxbury (7-1), Shawsheen (D5), Hudson (D6), Uxbridge (D7), and Randolph (7-1) earned top seeds in 128-team field.

On Sunday, the MIAA high school football tournament field was announced. Across eight divisions, 128 teams will compete for one of the 16 coveted spots at Gillette Stadium playing for a high school football state championship.
