DOOR COUNTY, Wis. — Wisconsin is getting into the holiday spirit a bit early this year. A new independent film — with a working title of “A Cherry Pie Christmas” — was filmed entirely in Door County.

The cat is out of the bag, or make that the pie is out of the oven, when it comes to a mysterious film project in Door County that sparked overwhelming interest with its call for extras in March.
