Ogunquit firefighters sprang into action, rescuing eight ducklings from a storm drain — only to discover their mission wasn’t quite over.

A feathered family was reunited Thursday thanks to a special rescue by the Colorado Springs Fire Department. The department said three ducklings were discovered in a storm drain this morning. The crew of Engine 7 rescued the babies with the help of Colorado Springs Public Works and Colorado Parks and Wildlife.

Fire Department sprung into action Friday to rescue 13 ducklings and reunite them with their mother. A group of three or four ducklings can be seen at the bottom of a storm drain in a video posted on the Spring Fire Department's X platform Tuesday morning.
