Rattler engineered a game-tying touchdown drive in the closing minutes of Sunday's preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The New Orleans Saints still do not know who their starting quarterback will be when Week 1 comes around, and there is still a battle brewing between Tyler Shough and Spencer Rattler.

Rattler thoroughly outplayed Tyler Shough in the on-going competition for the starting quarterback job.

The Jaguars (0-1-1) played their starters on offense and defense while the Saints rested their defensive starters which allowed Jacksonville quarterback Trevor Lawrence to have a strong outing in limited reps (eight of 10 for 76 yards with a touchdown).

The Jacksonville Jaguars head to the Superdome for a preseason kickoff against the Saints, and while the game doesn’t mean anything for the standings, it’s everything for the roster’s pecking order.
