Entire villages were swept away as torrential rain caused deadly flash floods and landslides in India-controlled Kashmir and northern Pakistan. Dramatic video shows the devastation in the neighboring countries as the death toll is expected to rise.

A provincial emergency service spokesperson says a massive cloudburst triggered flash floods in northwestern Pakistan and has killed at least 157 people, including women and children.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government's MI-17 helicopter had taken off from Peshawar for Bajaur when contact was lost over Mohmand tribal district, according to initial reports.
