US President Donald Trump said Wednesday there was a “very good prospect” of a summit meeting soon with Russia that could lead to an end to the war in Ukraine.

The Russian president and Trump emissary held talks in Moscow days before the White House deadline for Russia to reach a peace deal with Ukraine.

Zelenskyy renewed his call to meet with Putin — which he says is the only way to make progress towards peace. The Russian leader said it's not the right time.
