Australia’s Sam Konstas delivered one of the most eye-catching performances by a batter in recent times as he smashed a 65-ball 65, against India in Melbourne on Day 1 of the fourth Border-Gavaskar Test.

Ace India pacer Jasprit Bumrah said that it was an interesting battle against Sam Konstas on the opening day of the fourth Test but believed he could have got the latter out on six or seven occasions in the first two overs.

Sam Konstas caught most of the Indian players and former cricketers off guard with his counterattacking knock on the opening day of the boxing day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Konstas hit Bumrah for two sixes during his knock.
