The Formula One racing pic — starring Brad Pitt — is the first major theatrical win for Apple Original Films and will have no trouble topping the box office chart 'M3GAN 2.0' sequel gets run off the road by audiences.

Warner Bros./Apple's "F1" is picking up speed with strong word-of-mouth this weekend, heading for a $58 million opening weekend from 3,661 theaters while Universal/Blumhouse's "M3GAN 2.0" is earning less than half of its 2023 predecessor with an estimated opening of just $10 million.

"F1" is expected to race to the top of domestic box office charts with "M3GAN 2.0" to compete with "How to Train Your Dragon" for No. 2.
