Cinemark, one of the largest and most influential theatrical exhibition companies in the world, is celebrating National Popcorn Day on Jan. 19 with a $5 “Bring Your Own Bucket” deal, according to a release.
Cinemark offering ‘Bring Your Own Bucket’ popcorn deal for $5
Cinemark’s first-ever “Bring Your Own Bucket” promotion will be on Jan. 19 to celebrate National Popcorn Day. That Sunday, customers can bring in any clean container of their choice and the movie chain will fill it with fresh popcorn for $5, up to the equivalent of two XL popcorn sizes or 400 ounces.
Bring-your-own popcorn bucket and Cinemark will fill it for $5
For one day only, you can bring your own empty popcorn bucket and for $5, Cinemark will fill it. Customers are encouraged to “get creative and bring in any container, tote, or bag,” up to 400 ounces or about 3 gallons. For $5 the cinema will “load it up with the good stuff.” No movie ticket is required.
