Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has the option to hand a full debut to new signing Joao Pedro in their Club World Cup semi-final against Fluminense on Tuesday. The Blues come up against their former defender Thiago Silva when they face the Brazilian side in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Brazilian side Fluminense went from relegation candidate to surprise Club World Cup semi-finalists and will now face Chelsea as they aim to write a fairytale in the United States. The club from Rio de Janeiro is the only non-European club to reach this stage of the revamped tournament.

Tickets for the clash between Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid in the other semifinal are still commanding an enormous fee. As of Sunday afternoon, the cheapest available tickets are $195.15 (£142.91), but it’s possible that prices drop before the match kicks off on July 9.
