The Arizona Diamondbacks are one small step from securing up to $500 million to help with renovations to the team's downtown home Chase Field.

The Arizona House of Representatives approved House Bill 2704, the legislation that would recapture sales taxes from Chase Field for renovations.

⚾ The Arizona House gave final approval on legislation to provide public funding for renovations to Chase Field, which now goes to Gov. Katie Hobbs. Hobbs praised the bill on X, saying she's "thrilled that the legislature has passed a bill that will keep the Diamondbacks in Phoenix and create good-paying jobs."
