American businessman and aide to president-elect Donald Trump, said he would take over the indirect negotiations between Israel and Hezbollah to end the war in Lebanon.

At least one Israeli airstrike hit an apartment building in a beach town south of Beirut on Tuesday, Lebanese state media said, as other deadly strikes hit scattered locations across the country and armed group Hezbollah launched rockets into Israel.
