Ethnic minorities in Bangladesh’s southern hilly region are living in fear after clashes in which four people were killed and dozens wounded, police and witnesses said on Saturday.

The Tripura Chakma Students' Association (TCSA) on Saturday took out a rally in Agartala in protest against atrocities and killings of indigenous people in Bangladesh's Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) by its army.

Tribals, mainly Buddhist Chakmas, held large demonstrations in Agartala, Tripura, protesting attacks on minorities in Bangladesh. They submitted memoranda to the Bangladesh government demanding an end to the violence.

Rishabh Pant struck a century on his return to test cricket as India reduced Bangladesh to 158-4 at stumps on day three of the first test.
