Alabama has lost yet another player to the transfer portal following the 2024 season, with safety King Mack set to transfer to Penn State. It marks a homecoming of sorts for Mack, who originally began his college career at Penn State.

After one season with Alabama football, defensive back King Mack is heading back where he came from. Mack, who entered the transfer portal after the 2024 season, announced Sunday that he is returning to Penn State. Mack began his college career with the Nittany Lions, spending one season in State College before giving Tuscaloosa a try.

King Mack spent his freshman season in Happy Valley before leaving to join the Crimson Tide in 2024. Now, he's back.

A few pieces are locked in with LT Overton, Justin Jefferson, Domani Jackson and Deontae Lawson each returning for the 2025 season. McCrumby (6-foot-4, 238 pounds) caught 26 passes for 217 yards in 27 games the last three seasons at Arkansas State. A native of Mount Pleasant, Texas, he has one year of eligibility remaining.
