Iowa State men's basketball suffered its first Big 12 loss of the season after the Cyclones got upset at West Virginia.

Iowa State, which had its three-game winning streak come to an end, fell to 13-7 overall and 4-3 in Big 12 play. It was the first loss for the Cyclones since a Jan. 5 defeat to Utah. The Cyclones appeared to have turned the corner after that loss, picking up wins at Arizona State and Arizona and then beating Texas Tech at home earlier this week.
