Two California Highway Patrol officers were injured Wednesday morning when their vehicle crashed into a tree in Culver City. The crash was reported just after 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bristol Parkway near Green Valley Circle.

An officer with the California Highway Patrol died Wednesday after suffering from a medical emergency following an arrest in Culver City, authorities said, leading to a single-car crash. Luzdelia Caballero reports.

One officer was seriously injured and taken to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center by Culver City Fire Department paramedics. The second officer sustained a minor injury and was treated at the scene, according to Fox11.
