Sony Finally Gets Rid of Pesky PlayStation Network Login Requirement for Its Biggest PC Games
Sony’s biggest single-player games on PC will no longer require you to link to a PlayStation Network account to play them. In a press release Wednesday, the company said that linking a PlayStation Account will now be optional for select PlayStation titles on PC. The news hits just one day before Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is set for release on PC.

Sony announced Wednesday that you won’t need to log in to a PlayStation Network account to play four of its single-player games on PC: Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 (which comes out tomorrow), The Last of Us Part II Remastered (which launches on April 3rd), God of War Ragnarök, and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered.
